9 year old Chinwendu Precious is currently receiving treatment at a private hospital in Lagos after her madam, 26 year old Ifeoma Mbakwe poured hot water on her for failing to carry out an instruction at their Alagbado residence in Lagos on December 27th 2015. PM Newsreports that Mbakwe who hails from Anambra state has been arrested and is currently in police custody.

Daoud Yaya Brahim, and the government's general secretary, Haliki Choua Mahamat, have resigned after two separate s3x tapes purporting to show the men were shared widely on social media.   An administration spokesman confirmed the development in a statement on Wednesday, October 18, 2023.    Prime Minister Saleh Kebzabo accepted the resignations of the two men without giving further details, Kebzabo's spokesman said in a statement.    According to Reuters, the videos, which were circulated on Sunday and Monday, purportedly showed the men engaging in intimate acts with other people.    “Reuters could not independently verify the material and was not immediately able to reach either men for comment,” the publication said.

Blackout: Electricity Generation Sinks To 1,580MW

The highly pronounced power failures across the country in the past few days may worsen following a partial system collapse that occurred on Tuesday, and the continuous drop in electricity generation due to what the government says is the vandalism of pipelines that supply gas to the power plants. As a result, power generation dropped to 1,580.6 megawatts on Wednesday. Data from the Nigeria Electricity System Operator as well as information from senior officials of the different electricity distribution companies confirmed that power generation plummeted massively on Tuesday and Wednesday. The officials noted that this resulted in the reduction of the electricity load allocated to the Discos, stressing that this was why many parts of the country had been recording blackouts in the past few days.
