Photos: Steven Keshi's Wife Laid to Rest

Wife of former captain and chief coach of the Super Eagles, Stephen Keshi was laid buried today, Friday Jan. 15. Late Kate Keshi (nee Abureme) died on December 9, 2015, in the U.S. after a long battle with cancer. She was ‎laid to rest at her husband’s house at Ugiokhuen Quarters, Ugbor, GRA, in Benin, after a ‎requiem mass held at St. Paul Catholic Church, Airport Road. ‎She is survived by her husband, four children, her mother, brother, sisters and numerous relatives. The service was attended by family members and friends, including government officials, football administrators and sports journalists.‎

Photos: Rivers State Governor swears in new Acting Chief Judge, Justice Adama Iye Iyayi-Lamikanra

Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike on Friday, January 15, swore in Justice Adama Iye Iyayi -Lamikanra as the Acting Chief Judge of Rivers State.  Justice Adama Iye Iyayi-Lamikanra hails is an indigene of Etsako West Local Government Area of Edo State while her late husband hailed from Rivers State and the present husband is Yoruba.  Governor Wike insisted that the rule of law and respect for the laid down succession be followed in the appointment. Chad's defence minister and government general secretary resign after s3x tapes l£aked

Chad's defence minister, Gen. Daoud Yaya Brahim, and the government's general secretary, Haliki Choua Mahamat, have resigned after two separate s3x tapes purporting to show the men were shared widely on social media.   An administration spokesman confirmed the development in a statement on Wednesday, October 18, 2023.    Prime Minister Saleh Kebzabo accepted the resignations of the two men without giving further details, Kebzabo's spokesman said in a statement.    According to Reuters, the videos, which were circulated on Sunday and Monday, purportedly showed the men engaging in intimate acts with other people.    “Reuters could not independently verify the material and was not immediately able to reach either men for comment,” the publication said.
