Chad's defence minister, Gen. Daoud Yaya Brahim, and the government's general secretary, Haliki Choua Mahamat, have resigned after two separate s3x tapes purporting to show the men were shared widely on social media.   An administration spokesman confirmed the development in a statement on Wednesday, October 18, 2023.    Prime Minister Saleh Kebzabo accepted the resignations of the two men without giving further details, Kebzabo's spokesman said in a statement.    According to Reuters, the videos, which were circulated on Sunday and Monday, purportedly showed the men engaging in intimate acts with other people.    “Reuters could not independently verify the material and was not immediately able to reach either men for comment,” the publication said.

Tinubu appoints Ahmad Arabi as Chairman of National Hajj Commission

President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of Alhaji Jalal Ahmad Arabi as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON).   The president also directed the outgoing Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Commission, Alhaji Zikrullah Kunle Hassan, to proceed on a 3-month pre-retirement leave as provisioned by Public Service Rule (PSR) 120243 with effect from October 18, 2023, leading to his eventual retirement from service on January 17, 2023.   The new Chairman/CEO of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON), Alhaji Jalal Ahmad Arabi, will assume office in acting capacity on October 18, 2023, and will continue to serve in substantive capacity for a fresh term of four years, beginning on January 17, 2023.   Tinubu also approved the dissolution of the Board of NAHCON.   Ajuri Ngelale, Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, said the president expects the new NAHCON leadership to serve i...
