EPL: See top 15 highest goal scorers in Premier League

Following the conclusion of match-day 29 of the English Premier League, EPL, Sunday evening where Liverpool played a goalless draw with Everton, below are the current highest goal scorers, chasing the Golden Boot in the English top-flight league: Manchester City striker, Sergio Aguero, is on top of the goal chart with 18 goals despite failing to score in his side’s 1-0 victory over Bournemouth on Saturday. Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah failed to score in his side’s 0-0 draw with Everton on Sunday. The Egyptian international is in the second position on the goal chart with 17 goals. Arsenal’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang missed a penalty kick in his side’s 1-1 draw with Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday. The Gabonese international is occupying third-place on the goal chart with 16 goals. Below is the top-fifteen of Premier League highest goal scorers so far: Sergio Aguero (Manchester City) – 18 goals. Wayne Rooney breaks Thierry Henry's English Premier League record of 175 goals for one team

Manchester United captain Wayne Rooney is now a premier league legend after breaking the record for the highest number of goals scored by a player in the English Premier League with his superb effort against Liverpool this evening.  This comes just days after his brace helped the Red Devils stumble to a 3-3 draw against Premier League side Newcastle United. Rooney went ahead of Thierry Henry's record of 175 Premier League goals for a single club. He has scored five times in United's four January fixtures and adding to his career total of 242 career goals for the Manchester club.
