Image
Embattled former National Security Adviser, Sambo Dasuki, has accused President Buhari of being behind his continued detention despite two federal high courts granting him bail in December last year. According to  Premium Times , Dasuki made the allegation through his counsel, Joseph Daudu, at the resumed hearing of his trial today February 26th. Dasuki said while responding to a question during his media chat last year, pres. Buhari said that himself and Nnamdi Kanu, leader of IPOB, were still in detention because they could jump bail if they are released. Dasuki tendered several newspaper publications where Buhari was quoted as saying he should not be allowed to go home even if granted bail by any court because he might jump bail. Former Borno governor Ali Modu- Sheriff who recently was appointed Chairman of PDP says he's not a sponsor or founder of Boko Haram. His emergence as the new PDP chairman this week was heavily criticized with Femi Fani-Kayode calling him the indisputable founder of Boko Haram. Exonerating himself, Ali Modu- Sheriff - "Boko Haram wanted to kill me at a time because they believed that I was the one that reported them to President Umaru Yar’Adua to destroy their enclave. "It was after I left government that they moved to their different camps and bushes. Why should they kill my brother? Why should they kill my family if I am a sponsor of Boko Haram? Is there anywhere in the world that you sponsor people to kill you?” "Let me give you a typical example. Just a week ago, all the social media planted my picture showing me with the card of APC joining the party. At that time, nobody wrote that I was Boko Haram. They said Sheriff was going back to APC; they were s...

Prostitutes Detain Customers Over Unpaid Bills In Delta

Sex workers operating around Summit Road, Asaba, on Thursday detained three men for allegedly failing to pay their bills after they were serviced for hours. The sex workers had told the clients that a round of sex was N3,000 while ‘Till Day Break’ ranges between N7,000 and N8,000, depending on negotiations. But trouble started after the victims pressured the sex workers into having sex with them for a part payment of N2,000 for each round, promising that they will pay the balance after the action. After a long-drawn haggling session, the sex workers grudgingly accepted the deal, warning that their failure to pay the balance will attract trouble for them. However, the men could not come up with the balance afterward. “We manhandled the men and detained them when they tried to prove logic for us,” said Silver Ogieriakhi, one of the sex workers. Investigation revealed that the brothel located around the State Ministry of Information, Summit Road, is a hive o...

A man has to “Test out the car first!' Tyrese explains why he won't marry a celibate woman

Image
The 37 year old singer and actor says that he can’t marry a woman until he knows what he's getting in the bedroom. He revealed this on "The Doctors" recently when the subject of waiting for marriage before sex came up. Tyrese slammed the ideology and claims it just can’t work in a society of high divorce rates: “It’s enough people getting married and filing for divorce. There’s enough people out here saying, ‘I’m a born again virgin. I’ve had sex before, but I’m just going to hold back.” “I don’t know, I’m still trying to figure it out. I’m not going to have sex, I’m not going to touch you because it’s biblical. “However, I would say, I’m not willing to potentially marry bad sex. If I have one car to test drive, you gotta jump in and do a couple turns. Put in reverse, back up. I’m not marrying bad sex!” “I believe that God’s correction is for your protection. He’s not saying don’t have s*x so he can hold something from you. There are STDs out there. And...

Sports: Sunday Oliseh tells Mikel Obi: Play defensive midfield for Super Eagles or drop to the bench

Image
Super Eagles coach Sunday Oliseh has warned John Mikel Obi that he risks losing his Super Eagles playing spot if he refuses playing as a defensive midfielder for Nigeria. Mikel Obi has had a resurgence this season while playing as a defensive midfielder at Chelsea but opts to play offensive midfield when donning colours of the Super Eagles, a trend Oliseh wants to end. Defensive midfield was also the same role Mikel played when he broke out internationally under coach Samson Siasia at the 2005 FIFA U20 World Cup in the Netherlands. “With the national team, it’s not what you want that matters, it is what will bring us results,”said Oliseh in a radio interview. “If you don’t want to do that, I will play players who want to help us, like I did against Swaziland. My personal opinion is that he should be given a more central defensive role, like (Guus) Hiddink is using him. He should be the umbrella for the two central defenders,” Oliseh said.

heartbreaking Story Of A Starving Two-year-old Nigerian Boy

Image
Me thinks the Bible was right on point when it said that the heart of man (aint no exception) is desperately WICKED. I'm rarely moved but goodness how is this possible. READ! This is the heartbreaking moment a starving two-year-old Nigerian boy is given water by a charity worker after being left for dead by his family because they thought he was a witch. The boy, now named Hope, was found emaciated and riddled with worms after being forced to live off scraps thrown to him by passersby for eight months. He was finally rescued after being discovered Unclad and wandering the streets on January 31 by Anja Ringgren Loven, a Danish woman living in Africa.  Horrified by Hope's condition, Ms Loven bent down and began feeding him and giving him water from her bottle.  She then wrapped the disorientated and sick toddler up in a blanket, holding him in her arms, before taking him to the nearest hospital for treatment. Ms Loven is the founder of African Children's Aid Educa...
